It has a dial that is 2" in diameter with colored dial zoned with specific applications and HACCP guidelines. The temperature ranges from -20 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit with a +/- 2 degree temperature accuracy. It has a sturdy stainless steel construction with a glass lens.
